Join the GCC crew to watch "The Christmas Ships" pass
through Lake Oswego on the Willamette River. All are welcome!

This is a great opportunity to make plans to meetup with friends from camp, whether you're a current camper, parent, or alumni from the days of old. Gales Creek Camp people will always be your people.

New families are also encouraged to come out, make some new friends, and begin your GCC journey!

This year we are partnering with Type 1 Unbound to add some extra activities and fun.

What to Know

• Parents must accompany minors at all times. Childcare will not be provided.

• We will meet up at Foothills Park in Lake Oswego at 5:00pm. The ships are scheduled to pass by around 6:00pm, but sometimes they come as early as 5:30!

• Look for the GCC signs to find your people. We will have a hot cocoa, popcorn, and some free swag for campers.

• Public Restrooms are available at the park.

• Dress warm & weather appropriate. Covered areas at the park are limited.

• Please keep in mind that this is a public event organized by Christmas Ships, Inc.  We are not affiliated with Christmas Ships, Inc.,  and we will be sharing the park and viewing areas with the general public.

• Ship appearances are subject to change in accordance with boating safety, weather, or other reasons. Christmas Ships, Inc. may cancel up to 30 minutes prior to heading out.  You can always verify on their website here. We will also email registered attendees in case we hear of any changes.
