We get you. A new diagnosis of type 1 diabetes can be overwhelming. But Gales Creek Camp is here for you. The families you're going to meet through GCC have been through it, too. The other campers your child will meet are living the same challenges your kiddo faces every day. This is the place where a type 1 isn't the only 1. This is the place where you'll be understood.

Here are some opportunities and resources to get you started on your journey.

• We created a special free kit we can send to your new camper, absolutely free. It's just fun camp stuff, a t-shirt, stickers, etc.  To request one, click here.

• Open House Day is a low-commitment visit to camp for all ages. We'll provide lunch for everyone, answer questions and give tours. It's a great opportunity to see camp for the first time or to revisit it just for fun. Learn more here.
