GCC 2024 Diabetes Tech Prep:
Help speed up the check-in line by preparing some things on your camper's devices.
Label charger blocks, cords, pumps and receivers with camper first/ last name.
Delete last year’s “Camp” profile from pump.
Delete stored GCC Wi-Fi from phones.
Turn off parental locks for: overnight use, screen time, app access, sleep mode and do not disturb.
Disable FaceID/ TouchID. Change phone password to repeating 1s, as needed to meet required length.
Update Dexcom app, pump software, and phone operating system, if needed.
If camper uses Dexcom G7 app:
Phone: Dexcom app>Profile>Alerts>Add Second Alert Profile> “Camp”

Urgent Low Soon: ON
Low: ON, 80mg/dL, “Sound/Vibrate”>Sound>Alert Sound: G7 Low Medium, Snooze 20 minutes
High:
§ Non-Pumper: High: ON, 300mg/dL, “Sound/Vibrate”>Sound> Alert Sound: G7 High Medium, Delay 1st Alert 3 Hours, Snooze 3 Hours
§ iLet Pump: High: ON, 300mg/dL, “Sound/Vibrate”>Sound>Alert Sound: G7 High Medium, Delay 1st Alert 90 minutes, Snooze 90 minutes.
§ All other Pumps: High: ON, 250mg/dL, “Sound/Vibrate”>Sound>Alert Sound: G7 High Medium, Delay 1st Alert 3 Hours, Snooze 3 Hours
